Corduroy Sound is a multi-faceted audio production company and recording studio located in London, Ontario. With a strong focus on acoustic, singer-songwriter and indie rock music, our goal is to encourage grassroots artists to tell their story in an inspiring, comfortable environment.
In addition to music recording, we also offer services in audio post production, sound design and composition. Our flexible packages adapt to individual project needs and are always treated with a high priority and professional approach.

About Us
Corduroy Sound is a multi-faceted audio production company and recording studio located in London, Ontario. With a strong focus on acoustic, singer-songwriter and indie rock music, our goal is to encourage grassroots artists to tell their story in an inspiring, comfortable environment.
The studio features two live floors capable of accommodating small to large sized bands, with a wealth of industry standard vintage and modern equipment. The centrepiece of our extensive keyboard and piano collection is a nine foot Chickering grand piano, professionally regulated and tuned on a regular basis.
In addition to music recording, we also offer services in audio post production, sound design and composition. Our flexible packages adapt to individual project needs and are always treated with a high priority and professional approach.
OUR ENGINEER
Lliam Buckley
Founder/Head Engineer
Lliam found a passion for music and the recording arts at an early age. He was introduced to the craft by his father, the founder of Studio Depot and grew up experimenting in his family’s home recording studio, as well as studying music at his fathers’s music school, West Lincoln Conservatory.
After studying under JUNO and Grammy winning engineer Kevin Doyle, he attended Fanshawe’s Music Industry Art’s (MIA) program. Here he learned from a number of industry professionals including Dan Brodbeck, Rob Nation and Moe Berg. Upon graduating, he earned several notable awards including the MIA Producer of The Year award and returned the following year to study Audio Post Production.
He’s worked as an assistant at London recording studios The Sugar Shack and Charterhouse Studios. In his short time of work in the industry he’s already found his way onto sessions with notable acts Loud Luxury and Corey Hart.
Performing in and tracking the music for the folk collective Esther’s Family, led him to found Corduroy Sound. His background in both music and engineering inspired him to encourage like-minded grassroots artists to tell their story.
